Sorry to disappoint, fellow patchworkers! Summer has me in it's sunny grip. Patchwork Poetry will be On Vacation! until September! Please come back when (at least, here in the Northeast) the leaves are changing.

:( i was all ready for a return (i made myself a post-it note to remind me to check in). see everyone in september!
This sounds like such fun! If you are up and running again in the fall, I'd love to participate. DO stop by when you can, I also have a poetry blog at:
A cento, also known as a patchwork poem, is a poem stitched together from other people's poems.
A while back, in a collaborative poetry group I belong to, we offered lines of our poetry to each other to piece together bold, new poems. It was a refreshing challenge, a really nice way to play with other people's words, yet create something original. Collaborating opens new worlds. It's good like that.
How to participate
This is a collaborative blog. The more, the merrier. The more poets, the better the patchwork poems!
Taking part is simple:
1st & 3rd Thursdays of the month, post a link to a poem all your own, a poem you are willing to allow other poets to take apart (with proper acknowledgement, of course!)
2nd & 4th Thursdays, post a link to your newly created patchwork poem!
